A program for healing life’s losses, such as death, divorce, relationship strain, health issues.
This workshop teaches participants how to understand and cope with grief, and bring hope to life.

Meeting the immediate needs of family mourners
CEU training for Funeral Directors (3 CEU’s will be provided)
Effective training for all professionals who deal with those in mourning
What You Will Learn:
Examine the meanings of family
Recognize assumptions we make about families and how to use what we know to be of service to them
Learn to talk with people at a time of loss; what to say and what not to say
Find out how to approach the family with respect and comfort
Learn how to deal with difficult family dynamics
Develop ways to deal with anger and inappropriate behaviors
Identify the blessings of shock
Examine opportunities for children, teens and adults to say goodbye
The registration form invites registrants to identify questions they would like to have answered. These questions will be incorporated into the discussion.
